I recently sent my 4 year old Connemara mare to Ruth’s yard for backing and bringing on. It’s the best decision I ever made! She looked after her and rode her as if she were her own, working with Pearl at her own pace, from long reining, first hacks out to schooling and acceptance of the bit. She even took her out to her first show during this time and came back with a rosette. Ruth is dedicated to getting the best from her horses and ponies in a sensitive and quiet manner, never getting frustrated. She is now helping me to further Pearl’s education at home with regular lessons and is very supportive in every aspect. I would thoroughly recommend Ruth and nothing is too much trouble. "Ruth has had my boy for a few weeks to ride on, I don't trust many people with my baby but the whole time he was with ruth I felt completely at ease knowing he was in amazing hands and loved like one of her own, this is not just a job for ruth by her passion and you can tell that by not just her attitude but her well kept yard and how spoilt and loved the horses are. I would 110% recommend Ruth to anyone not just for schooling / breaking services but for lessons too there is nothing she doesn't know and is a lovely person too.

Rosso is my ex flat racehorse who I have had since October 2018 and Ruth has embraced the task of helping me re-train him into what we hope will be a super dressage and show horse. He is already coming on in leaps and bounds under Ruth's skillful and tactful instruction. My lessons with Ruth are always fun and Rosso has us both giggling with his cheeky personality.
